Supporting HDR Students: The Supervisor’s Role in Wellbeing and Inclusion
Description
The HDR journey spans years—and during that time, students may experience challenges related to mental health, disability, or personal circumstances that impact their progress.
This online workshop provides HDR supervisors with a clear understanding of their role in supporting student wellbeing, recognising when additional support may be needed, and referring students to the appropriate University services.
Whether you’re an experienced supervisor or new to the role, this session will support you in creating a more inclusive, supportive research environment—one where students can succeed not only academically, but as whole individuals.
