Videos for Change: Empowering students in a time of crisis
Pandemics are collective action problems. Videos for Change empowers students in years 7-12 to use their voice, take action and create positive change in the world. Students can also enter their one-minute videos in the 2020 national competition, themed: What does ‘community’ mean in a crisis? What you’ll learn:
- Knowledge and skills to successfully support students to lead social change.
- How you can implement this real-world, student-led, project-based, learning opportunity at your school
- Hear from teachers at Cannon Hill Anglican College and North Lakes State College about how they are incorporating Videos for Change into their curriculum.

In this final interactive session explore free teacher resources which will support you in addressing the COVID-19 crisis in the classroom. Have the opportunity to meet with educators who are transforming their curriculum with High Resolves resources and programs for students and teachers. What you’ll learn:
- Resources to enrich your curriculum across all year levels including a new digital student experience facilitated by High Resolves on OpenLearning.
- Knowledge and understanding of Composer, a global digital platform schools are using to plan for a dynamic wellbeing and citizenship curriculum.
- A case study from Sunshine Beach State High School on how they have implemented High Resolves resources
