Supporting Youth's Transition into Adulthood- CANCELLED
Event description
Empowering Our Youth's Transition into Adulthood
Community Breakfast for Parents & Carers of Young People Aged 16-24
7am – 9am
Wednesday 16th
October 2024
Long Reef Golf Club - Anzac Ave, Collaroy
As the parent or carer of a young person, would you like to be better equipped to understand their changing needs and how to best support them during this critical transition period?
It can be tough for many young people as they journey through the key transition period of moving away from the supported school system into adulthood. Â
Developing the skills for work and adult life takes planning and guidance - that’s where your support, as their parent, becomes crucial.Â
The breakfast is designed to help equip you with the tools, practical tips and strategies to support them.Â
Hear from individuals and experts on how you can support your young person as they deal with potential issues of loneliness, drug and alcohol, peer pressure, depression, and the anxiety of what’s ahead. Â
Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity!
