Surfers for Climate and Paloma Salon are pleased to present a special screening of First Nations surf odyssey Changing Tides, live musical performance by First Nations musician Maanyung and a panel discussion on the Voice to Parliament that seeks to clarify the opportunity for us all to walk together in Australia towards treaty and truth.
Changing Tides producers Yale MacGillivray and Matt Davis will be introducing the film and sharing their inspiration for its conception, and the panel discussion, moderated by Groundswell cofounder Clare Herschell, will include Wiradjuri (Galari) woman and Board member of Yes 23 Chloe Wighton, Kalkadoon, South Sea Island and Scottish woman and freelance storyteller Yale MacGillivray, reporter, producer and camera operator at the ABC Matt Davis, and Maanyung (Micheal Laurie), who is a proud Gumbaynggir and Yaegl man.
