Surreal Botanical Art Workshop with Rachel Favelle

Explore the fascinating shapes, textures and patterns of botanicals, then transform them into imaginative worlds by combining them with creatures, insects and animals. Create curious, unexpected and whimsical compositions where nature meets imagination.

You’ll learn techniques for shading and adding depth with coloured pencils, exploring colour, texture, light and shadow to bring your surreal creations to life. No drawing experience is necessary, just come along, get creative and see where your imagination takes you.

·      This workshop is designed as an introduction to coloured pencil drawing. No previous drawing experience is needed. All equipment is supplied.

  What happens if we have to cancel last minute?

If you need to cancel please advise at least 24 hours prior to class. You will have credit  to attend another workshop in the future.

Is there wheelchair access and a bathroom on site?

Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access as my studio is located upstairs. We have a bathroom facilities available downstairs.

Is this workshop suitable for children?

This workshop is aimed primarily for adults or 16 years and above. If you have a teen that is attending with you and you would like to join, you are most welcome.
