    Event description

Survive & Thrive: Enhancing the Wellbeing of First-Year Female PhD Students at the University of Adelaide

International female PhD students face challenges such as cultural adaptation, loneliness, safety, housing, work-life balance, academic deadlines, and meeting supervisor expectations. Despite existing support systems, these students often need tailored assistance.

This event aims to support first-year female PhD students by connecting them with senior students who can offer guidance and share their experiences.

    This event will:

    • Boost morale and provide strategies to overcome common first-year challenges.
    • Create a supportive community by sharing personal experiences and insights.
    • Help students thrive academically and personally
