Sushi for Beginners - GeCo Gourmet!

Join us at GeCo on Saturday the 18th of October as the wonderful Jehni Thomas-Wurth takes us on a culinary tour of everyone's favourite Japanese food, sushi!

Jehni will show you how to prepare your rice and vegetables, how to handle the Nori (seaweed) and how to roll for optimal structure!

This workshop is aimed at beginners to making their own sushi. Please bring an apron (if you're worried about your clothes). All ingredients and tools will be provided.

Please note the pricing structure. The top tier means money is coming back into GeCo, and allows us to offer courses like this to those who may not be able to afford it. It allows us to run community workshops, and generally give back to our community.

The second tier of pricing is a concession price that covers the cost of materials and space etc. Please select this if you have a Health Care Card, a Pension Card or any other sort of discount applicable.

And finally, every workshop we offer here at GeCo is available FREE if it will benefit you and your mental health, but finances are an issue. Give Trish a call and she can organise a ticket for you if you are in need. 6297 1616.
