What is the 'First Nations Food Justice Internship'?Â
The First Nations Food Justice Internship is a paid 10-week healing program for 8 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. No prior experience needed. Learn to convert lawn into food, grow Indigenous vegetables, grains, and herbs, and connect to culture and Country. Lunch and tea provided, plus field trips to nurseries and important sites.Â
Sustain, the Australian Food Network is a deadly not-for-profit organisation built to facilitate growing food justice.Â
Farmer Allara (Yorta Yorta) and Farmer Jesse will be co-facilitating internships beginning in early March (exact day/date TBC)Â
