Sustainability Trail Tours 2025

Explore sustainability in action on our Camperdown campus! Whether you are a new student or staff member, these tours promise make the sometimes invisible aspects of sustainability visible. 

Learn more about the University's Sustainability Strategy and find out how you get involved as a staff and student in 2025. We'll visit the the endangered Wollemi Pine is on campus, get some shade under our Living Labs and meet Chester the Biodigester who can recycle 200 kilograms of organic waste daily right here on campus!

Departs: 

Ground Floor, Concierge Desk, Michael Spence Building, F23

Time: 

12pm (finishing time 1pm near Charles Perkins Centre D17). 

Dates: 

• Climate Action Week Sydney Tour: Wednesday 12 March
  The tour will highlight our climate resilience strategy and adaptation amongst other points of interest.
  
  
• Plastic Free July Tour: Tuesday 8 July
  The tour will focus on waste reduction, circular economy practices and recycling amongst other points of interest.
  

Please note: there is no shade on this tour, please be sun smart and wear weather appropriate clothing. Additionally, this tour may be cancelled due to inclement weather or low registration numbers, you will be notified of this by 5pm on the day prior to the tour.
