Event description

Thinking about a career in sustainability but not sure where to start?
Join us for a hands-on, career-planning workshop designed for students keen to explore corporate pathways into sustainability. Hear directly from professionals working across ethical sourcing, carbon offsets, sustainable textiles, and corporate sustainability consulting.

The session will kick off with a fireside chat featuring guest speakers in different sectors of sustainability, followed by breakout sessions to map out your sustainability career journey with expert guidance.

Hear from industry leaders:

Whether you're studying sustainability or just interested to learn more about what a career in this space involved, this is your chance to connect with professionals and plan your future in the green economy.

This event has been organised by Aaron Fraser, an academic tutor in the Department of Management and Marketing at The University of Melbourne and also works as a program coordinator at The Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship.

Having also graduated from the Master of Entrepreneurship at The University of Melbourne, he has been involved in founding numerous startups in the sustainability sector, including Grapevine, Australia’s first social marketplace for sustainably and ethically made products, and The Conscious Collective, a not-for-profit running interactive educational workshops on responsible consumerism that empower consumers to make better purchasing choices.

During his founder journey, Aaron has also been recognized as the 2024 JCI Australia Emerging Young Entrepreneur.
