Sustainability Week: Introduction to Nature Journaling Workshop

Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature. This fun, relaxing practice helps you to connect more closely with nature, and results in the creation of your own unique nature journal.

Based on the teachings of ecologist and artist Dr Paula Peeters, this workshop will help teach you how begin with nature journalling, whether you want to calm your mind, improve your ability to observe, draw and write, or compile species sightings and other scientific observations.

Please bring your own journal and drawing equipment (graphite pencils, fine liner pens, and water colour pencils are recommended), but spares will be available if needed.

• UOM018/UOM-I07: You have written an article for the Green Impact newsletter based on your participation in Sustainability Week.
