Sustainability Week: Repurpose Runway Workshop
Event description
The Repurpose Runway is a celebration of creativity, conscious choices, and giving "old" clothes a bold new life. Come and learn how to transform your pre-loved clothing with guidance from professional fashion designer, Moose.
This workshop is beginner-friendly! You can bring your own clothes, or we have some clothes available on the day. If you purchase clothes from op shops specifically for this workshop, keep the receipt and we will reimburse you up to $50.
Join us in this experience of how sustainable fashion choices do not have to hurt your wallet and the planet, but it also never goes out of style.
About the organisers:
SMART Consumers is a student-led club based at the University of Melbourne with the ambition to bring the circular economy closer to students. We aim to encourage students to reduce their environmental footprint in daily life, while also introducing them to organisations that offer opportunities for volunteering and career development in the sustainability space.
