Join our Sustainable and Resilient Homes workshop series to learn practical ways to create homes that are more sustainable, comfortable and resilient to flooding.
Presented by Sam Bowstead from the Resilient Homes Fund, this session will introduce Queensland's updated Design Guidance for Flood Resilient Homes and explore key building and design considerations for properties located in overland flow and riverine flood areas.
Ipswich City Council planners will also be available to answer general and property-specific planning questions.
In this workshop, participants can:
Learn about the Design Guidance for Flood Resilient Homes
Discover building and design strategies to improve resilience to future flooding
Ask questions during a dedicated Q&A session.
