Sustainable Business Awards 2023

The Sustainable Business Awards are Aotearoa New Zealand’s pre-eminent and longest-standing sustainability awards, now in their 21st year (woohoo!). They recognise and celebrate success in sustainability, and as global uncertainty rises in the wake of the climate crisis, we need to raise our stories of success and hope more than ever before.

The Awards event is the highlight of the sustainable business calendar, attended by the who's-who of sustainable business. This year we’re bringing back a bit of the sustainable glitz and glam of our pre-Covid Awards ceremonies, with an in-person cocktail event. With beautiful local fare, celebratory beverage, a dash of entertainment, the opportunity to network in celebration of 21 years, and our fantastic finalists - it’s the place to be seen on 23 November!

This year's Awards will be held in the stunning Under the Dome venue at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, which features 360 degree views of beautiful Tāmaki Makaurau. Banks of theatre style seating will be available, alongside casual cocktail set up areas, creating the prime environment for mixing, mingling and celebration. Please note that due to the set up of the ceremony, tables are not available for purchase. You are, however, welcome to purchase as many individual tickets as you wish!

The event will also be live streamed by Stuff, our Broadcast Partner, to help ensure the stories of sustainability success reach as many people as possible and to ensure it’s accessible to all, no matter where you’re located across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Event Details

Attire: The event will be cocktail style with a dress code of cocktail/semi-formal. We encourage you to think sustainably and wear something already in your wardrobe, second-hand, or borrowed!

Arrival: Please arrive between 5:15pm and 5.55pm. We will kick off the event at 6.00pm with an official welcome.

Transportation: Please think sustainably and responsibly when travelling to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
