The City of Yarra invites all businesses and commercial property investors of any size and from all industries to a Sustainable Business Yarra breakfast at United Co. Fitzroy. This event will help all businesses, no matter where they are on the journey, to understand how they can support and benefit from the transition to 100% Renewable Energy. We have great speakers from the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity, Eastern Alliance for Greenhouse Action and Energy and Sustainability advisor Michael Zammit talking about the ways businesses are benefiting from the transition to renewable energy and you can to. In addition to our panel of speakers, we will have solutions providers in the room who can support you to create new income streams and improve energy productivity in your business or commercial property.

Michael Zammit, Consultant and Strategic Engagements Advisor to VIOTAS Australia Michael has over 50 years of experience in the utilities sector. His diverse roles as a professional engineer, marketer, manager, and consultant reflect a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Over the past two decades, Michael has focused on empowering customers to derive financial returns from their assets through participation in Demand Response (DR) in the electricity market. |
Aaron Gray , Sustainable Business Officer, City of Yarra
After 15 years in the banking sector, Aaron has transitioned to local government to focus on supporting businesses across the City of Yarra on their journey to net zero. Aaron spearheads the Business Renewable Buying Group program, which is currently recruiting businesses for a second group purchase of renewable electricity, and was award the Cities Power Partnership collaboration prize in 2023.
Brendan Voss, Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP)
Brendan is a technical leader with A2EP, Brendan has significant experience in delivering complex, energy focused solutions to large HVAC projects both within Australia and South East Asia. He has extensive experience in the Chiller market with vast knowledge on product applications and system design optimisation. Brendan has also authored energy modelling and optimisation software for central chilled water plants that is utilised globally, along with several financial modelling tools for energy efficiency investment projects, resulting in thousands of tonnes of CO2 savings globally.
