Sustainable Dorset: Women's Community Gathering

Sustainable Dorset exists to do the following things:

• Uplift its community

• Connect people who have an interest or involvement in environmental and community action

• Grow together

Following feedback from an attendee of Dorset COP 2025, it was noted that "the predominance of women presenters was a breath of fresh air.” Sustainable Dorset wants to continue to empower women in the climate sector and create a space in which they can show up authentically, in a judgement-free zone.

So, the idea of Sustainable Dorset's Women's Gathering was born. It will be an informal event with open discussion. Women of all ages are welcome and we encourage you to bring along those in your life who aren't actively involved in environmental action.

Kicking off our first meeting we will gather in Chettle where we will be kindly hosted by Alice Favre. With a capacity of 30 women, we recommend getting your ticket sooner rather than later! The tickets are on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested donation of £15 to help cover the cost of our supper.
