Sustainable Gift Wrapping at Pumphouse Open Day
The Pumphouse
East Albury NSW, Australia
Description
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to discover the beautiful Japanese art of furoshiki, the traditional practice of wrapping gifts and precious items in fabric. In this hands-on workshop you'll learn how to give your Christmas gifts a unique and personal touch while helping save textiles from landfill. The best part? The fabric can become part of the gift itself and be reused time and time again!
Come and chat to us at the Halve Waste gazebo at the market from 9:00 - 2:00pm or join us for a hands-on workshop at 10:00am in the Fibre Arts studio.
