Sustainable House Bus Tour
Event description
Join us for a day of inspiration and discover the comforts and benefits of local sustainable homes.
We will tour some sustainable houses across our region and learn how to make your house more comfortable, resilient and cost efficient. We will visit 3 innovative, sustainable, energy efficient and climate resilient houses. Discover sustainable practices, from solar energy integration into batteries, and energy efficient designed houses, whilst experiencing the comfort and functionality of these eco-conscious dwellings.
After visiting 2 thoughtfully designed sustainable houses in Tatura and learning about their features, we will have a short break at Stuart Mock Place in Tatura where a light lunch will be provided and rest rooms available. Our final stop in Rushworth features an off-grid passive house that’s designed to stand the test of time. From there we will head back to drop-off at Stuart Mock Place Tatura then Shepparton Library.
Registration is essential and will close on 11 March.
