Sustainable Kitchens: Food Waste solutions with Cornersmith and FOGO! December

With the introduction of the green lid FOGO bins to Inner West households, residents have the opportunity to make positive change in our food system. For food that can't be repurposed into new recipes, using the FOGO bin keeps it out of landfill!

For over 10 years Alex and Jaimee from Cornersmith have been teaching households how to shop well, store well and cook without waste. With the kitchen benchtop bin and green lid FOGO bin, their mission to save food from landfill just got a whole lot easier. Join these waste warriors as they share their tips for delicious and more sustainable cooking and eating. Alex and Jaimee will bring their Waste Hack Wednesday’s and Fridge Check Fridays to life to show you how easy it is reduce food waste, save money and find solutions.

Inner West Council is partnering with Cornersmith Cafe to deliver this workshop series, and an Inner West representative will be on hand to answer all your FOGO and other waste-related questions.
