Sustainable Living for Renters
Event description
Do you want to live a more sustainable life but think it’s out of reach because you rent? If you believe the only way to live that ‘homesteading life’ is to own a house with a composting toilet and goats, get ready to flip your thinking.
Anna Matilda is a Whitehorse Green Living Champion, and is affectionately known as “The Urban Nanna” by her loyal social media followers. Drawing on her 25 years' experience as a renter, Anna will help you upskill on loads of small sustainable actions you can use in your daily life. Learn about reducing waste (and lowering costs) in the kitchen; budget ways to grow your own food; simple steps to cutting your energy bills down; ways to manage your water usage; and more.
You will also receive a follow-up list of resources to help you get started on your sustainable journey.
Home owners are also very welcome to attend!
There will be time for a cuppa and the opportunity to connect with other like-minded people.
