Event description
Centre for Sport, Business and Society (CSBS) is a unique partnership between UTS Business School and Institute for Public Policy and Governance.
Join us for the second session of our 2024 Research Seminar Series: Sustainable sport sponsorships and design thinking: Two underdeveloped areas in sport management research
About the seminar
Starting with a summary of initial findings in the Journal of Sustainable Development about the characteristics of sustainable sponsorships in sport, Stefan Walzel will outline some limitations in terms of common methods in sport management research.
These limitations drove the decision for applying a relatively new method in sport management research, design thinking. Stefan will present in more details the motivation for using design thinking for his research along with the process and outcome of the research and lessons learnt or future sport management research.
This one-hour seminar will be followed by networking drinks at Cafe 80, located on the ground floor (Level 2) of the building.
