There’s no need to log native forests to produce the timber products we rely on. Sustainable alternatives are already here.

Sponsored by Parliamentary Friends of Forests, join Forest Alliance NSW and WWF-Australia on 14 October for an evening exploring the future of timber in New South Wales. The event will showcase structural bamboo, hemp, and engineered wood products (EWPs), with displays from Australian-owned companies and industry experts and opening statements from Dermot O’Gorman, CEO of WWF-Australia, and Justin Field of Forest Alliance NSW.

Industry presenters include:

House of Bamboo

Hemp Inside

Bamboo Society Australia

Australian Hemp Council

iHempNSW

BVN Architecture

Come along to discover what these sustainable materials can offer for communities, nature and industry in New South Wales. Enjoy a relaxed evening with food, drinks and conversations with sustainable materials specialists.
