World Burlesque Day is nearly here and you can join in the fun of the annual Dance Challenge! Beginners absolutely welcome, no previous dance experience required! All genders welcome, strictly 18+.
Join Mae de la Rue in this open level 60min dance class where you will learn the official World Burlesque Day dance for 2024 and have an opportunity to record yourself dancing and post online as part of the World Burlesque Day Dance Challenge where you can win prizes!
World Burlesque Day is an opportunity to dip your toe in to the glamorous world of burlesque without breaking the bank! But you don't have to take your clothes off! This class will be about learning a dance only. If you want to dress burlesque, you're very welcome too, but no pressure!
Come along, bring your friends, this workshop is only $10 to attend. That's an absolute STEAL in this economy!
Wear whatever you're comfortable moving in, activewear is welcome, dance shoes are optional.

All ages over 18 are welcome, and don't think you're too old, there are many students in their 40s, 50s and even 60s. We have Legendary burlesque performers in their 70s and 80s that still perform, so you're never too old to give it a try!
