Event description
Engaging with Luke-Acts as a single narrative in two volumes, this lecture approaches eschatology with a view to the past, present, and future. We will explore Luke's eschatological framework within a series of categories: two-era Jewish eschatology, two-stage eschatological fulfillment, and two-strand eschatological teaching. Although some scholars have labelled him as "uneschatological," this lecture will argue that Luke is in fact thoroughly eschatological when his framework is understood properly through these categories.
