Join us for a nice summer evening at the Servo, chock full of inspiring-and-interesting music. Kicking off will be Your Loving Tyrant with their angular post-punk songs, followed by Recalibrate’s energetic math-dub-punk creations, before the night culminates in the atmospheric post-rock sound Svntax Error is known for.

Svntax Error play theremin-fuelled and guitar-laden indie psychedelic post rock for the apocalypse. The Syndey-based quartet has toured nationally and internationally; in 2023 they played at Dunk! Festival in Belgium, with a side show in London, did a full Australian tour with Japanese post-rock legends Mono, and many other shows.

Sydney trio Recalibrate combine heavy prog riffs with sparse dub groves and bursts of angular math-rock. After 35+ shows and two albums under the name ‘No Mandate’ they changed to Recalibrate to, well, recalibrate the band. The trio features members of Meniscus, Hinterlandt, Serious Beak, Snob Club, Kurushimi, and countless other progressive bands.

Local trio Your Loving Tyrant play an angular style of post-punk that flourishes on their brand new album, Hills To Die On. Featuring members of Dropping Honey, Juniper and several other bands, Your Loving Tyrant bring to mind the 1990s indie/noise rock sound of acts like Unwound, Polvo or The Van Pelt.
