Event description
Come for a trundle through the community of weeds that are thriving around Swan Bay. Together we will learn who they are, why we don't want them here and what we can use them for. Discover and have a play with this abundant resource through weaving, dyeing and eating.
SBEA member Janet Johnston will lead a short walk introducing participants to some of our more persistent invasive weeds. This will be followed by a workshop facilitated by Michaela McHugh a multimedia artist from Wadawurrung country.
This workshop will be suitable for beginner and experienced artists. A delicious morning tea/light lunch will be provided.
All art materials are included.
