Creating with Canva workshop
(10:00am to 12:30pm)

First impressions count. If you want to put a professional face forward for your business, you need the right look and feel for your marketing materials. If your budget doesn’t extend to using a graphic designer, the good news is that you can do it yourself using Canva.

If you’ve had a go at the basics but would like some hands-on help with putting your new skills to work, this workshop is for you. Together we will use Canva to create:

  • An introductory video asset for your socials and website
  • A selection of branded templates that you can use in digital marketing
  • A brochure with your key marketing message, to print or hand out at events
For this workshop you will need to:
  • Bring a laptop
  • Log in to or register for an account on Canva

This workshop is intended for small business owners who have attended the Using Canva workshop or who have some experience using Canva and know how to use frames, search for elements, and can save and download files from the platform.

The facilitator of the topic, Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is dedicated to helping small business owners thrive through expert advice, hands-on workshops and building a community of like-minded people.

This workshop will be delivered in person in the City of Swan and is free to attend for businesses located in Malaga and the wider City of Swan thanks to the funding from the Government of Western Australia, Small Business Development Corporation, and the City of Swan.
