Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC Annual Dinner 2025

It feels like just yesterday we launched our 24/25 summer season up on the Swanny deck with saxophones and pina coladas in hand at the Cocktail Party, and now the end-of-season Annual Dinner is upon us.

You can’t accuse a Swanny member of not wringing the life out of every second of the summer that was - before the sun comes up, boards are being pulled out of the shed, IRB engines are being warmed up, wooden oars are slicing through surf in the darkness. After the sun goes down, we’re still going: teaching CPR in the club rooms, swimming laps, working out in the gym, and enjoying those inimitable sunsets from the balcony.The Annual Dinner is a time to pause and reflect back on all those moments, on all our community has accomplished: the fitness, education, upskilling, competing, socialising, keeping people safe, community and friendship.

• Dust off your tux and join us at the Cottesloe Golf Club for a sit-down, three-course meal and premium drinks. The event organisers have a new layout in mind that will allow for ease of movement throughout the night.
  
• Life member Julian Gibbings is our highly esteemed MC for the evening, and will take us through the presentation of the club’s annual awards, including Life Memberships (see below for nomination details).
  
• The Swanny annual highlights film will make a return, and once the proceedings are done, Swanny’s all-star DJs will help us party the night away. 
• Two Bronze Medallion courses were held this season, and we are proud to have a pack of newly skilled life savers in our midst - new bronzies from both courses are encouraged to attend. 

Date: Saturday 3rd May

Time: Arrive 6pm for 6.30pm formal start. You’re encouraged to come early and make the most of the light for photos and socialising before the formal proceedings begin. 

Where: Cottesloe Golf Club, 173 Alfred Road, Swanbourne WA 6010. Parking is available at the Golf Club. 

Dress code: Formal - suits/ties/gowns/cocktail dresses. 

How much: $149 each (Adult), $100 each (Youth / U18/ Non-Drinking Adults), pre-purchase through Humanitix. Ticket includes three-course meal, selection of quality wines, sparkling wine, beer, and soft drinks. Please indicate dietaries during ticket purchase process. 

Nominate for an Award: Endless volunteer hours go into making Swanny the great club that it is, and awards are one way that we can celebrate the outstanding contributions that our Members have made to our Club over the past year. Award nominations are now open, we'd love to get as many nominations as possible to recognise all the amazing work our members have done this season.
