Swanny Cocktail Party 2025 - Step Back in Time

Swanbourne SLSC's much-loved season opener, The Cocktail Party (formerly the President’s Party) is your chance to crawl out of winter hibernation and reconnect with your Clubbies, knock back a few cheeky ones, clock up a few more sunset photos in your phone, and oil up your joints for a few turns on the dancefloor.

This year we’re celebrating Swanny’s Golden Summers ​- think retro vibes, with a nod to Swanny’s rich history of sun, surf, and good times.

Glass of vintage champagne included on arrival. 6pm start, sunset around 6.30pm. We're wrapping things up at 11pm, so come on time!

Themed drinks:
$8 Alcoholic ginger beer ice-cream floats ($5 Root Beer non alc Floats)

Retro party food - throwback appetisers of your dreams
Tuck into old-school retro party food, like sausage rolls, party pies, vanilla slice bites, thanks to our neighbours at The North Street Store.

CALLING ALL CREATIVE COOKS: We'd love some contributions to the finger food - if you feel like getting creative with a retro finger food dish - think cheese & cherry sticks on pineapples, pickles on Jatz, celery crudites - please contact Dani Marsland (0433 257 532 or Facebook) with what dish you'd like to bring.

Things to note:

What Do I Wear? While the event is themed, there’s no ​themed dress-up required​ this year: simply wear cocktail attire​/semi-formal. Or if you want to dress retro, we welcome any outfits paying homage to summers gone by.

Finger food only, with vegetarian options. A full dinner not provided.
