Umbrella Festival in partnership with the Limestone Coast Pantry proudly presents: Sweet As Swing

From Love Is In The Air to Highway To Hell, Sweet as Swing are coming to Mount Gambier for an unmissable journey through the Australian songbook… with a jazz twist!

After three hit seasons at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and a debut album release, this smooth four piece vocal jazz group write and perform arrangements that honour the traditions of jazz while paying tribute to the most loved Australian rock and pop hits. Influences from the Hi-Lo’s, Lambert Hendricks and Ross and Manhattan Transfer, Sweet As Swing’s arrangements are rich in jazz harmony with flavours of latin American rhythm. Join them and their you-beaut’ rhythm section for one night only at The Pantry!

‘Sweet As Swing’ is a vibrant Adelaide based vocal jazz quartet featuring Kelly Doddridge (vocals/trombone), Andrew Casey (vocals/piano), Ryan Casey (vocals/trumpet) and Caitlyn Hearne (vocals). The group met while studying music at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and singing in the Adelaide Connection Jazz Choir.

★★★★ "An unexpected delight" This And That.
