Sweet Pies & Filter Coffee: An Evening with Pickle & Pie and Allpress

We’re launching our new filter coffee, and we’re doing it properly: with pie!
Pickle & Pie is teaming up with Allpress for an evening where our sweet pies meet some of Allpress’s most beautiful coffees. Allpress coffee experts will guide you through a tasting of three coffees, each paired with a carefully crafted sweet pie made to bring out its best.
The night's brews include:
Rwanda Sovu (stewed apricot, black tea, caramel)
Colombia Pescador (milk chocolate, brown sugar, crisp apple)
+1 Brand New Specialty Coffee (you'll be among the first to taste!)
The Details
Expect a relaxed, hands-on tasting: slurp, sniff, compare, then take a bite and see how the coffee changes. Whether you know your cupping from your pour-over or you just love a good pie, you’ll leave with sharper taste buds and a happy belly.
Sweet pie lovers, coffee nerds, baristas and hospo friends: everyone is welcome.

- Do I need to know about coffee to come?
Not at all. Our Allpress hosts will guide you through every step, so whether you’re a barista or just love a good pie, you’ll be right at home.
- What happens on the night?
Doors open at 4:30pm and the tasting starts at 5:00pm. You’ll taste three coffees, each paired with a sweet pie, and our hosts will talk you through what to look for in the cup and on the plate. Tasting cards are yours to take home.
- Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Not on this night. Our pies will be full of buttery goodness and aren’t suitable for gluten-free or vegan diets, so we can’t cater for these requirements at this event.
