"Wintering Well" with Deborah Mullan 11.30am-13.00
Tree and Tide So many of us struggle during winter, approaching it with dread, hoping we can grit our teeth and get through to spring. What if there was a different way to experience winter? In this workshop, we’ll explore how we can move beyond survival in winter. We’ll look at practical ways we can bring nourishment where we expect scarcity, find contentment rather than despair, and discover the unique gifts that winter has to offer. We’ll explore how to come through winter nourished, restored and renewed — rather than simply relieved that it’s over. Deborah Mullan is a former NHS Physiotherapist, accredited Psychotherapist, and Certified Forest Therapy Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in mental health and wellbeing. Alongside her private psychotherapy practice, she delivers workplace wellbeing workshops for organizations and leads restorative outdoor group experiences. Deborah is passionate about helping people move beyond surviving to truly thrive in every aspect of life. Learn more at treeandtide.com.

Nuture your Nervous System with Michelle Major
Michelle Major Nurture Your Nervous System Join Michelle for an experiential journey from understanding your nervous system to embodiment. We live in a world saturated with information about trauma, the nervous system, and somatic approaches. But knowing about your nervous system is not the same as experiencing it. During this evidence-based workshop, we will integrate the principles from Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory and neuroscience to develop a deeper, compassionate and more embodied relationship with yourself. There will be an invitation to slow down, tune in and track what your nervous system is communicating. Nurturing our nervous system isn't simply about understanding why we respond the way we do. It is also about expanding our capacity for safety, connection, joy, co-regulation, emotional attunement and community. You might find yourself asking: • Why do I understand my patterns but still struggle to change them? • Why can traditional talking approaches sometimes leave me feeling stuck? • Why do mindfulness or meditation feel difficult when I'm overwhelmed? • Why do I overthink, doubt myself or constantly second-guess my decisions? • Why do I procrastinate or struggle to find motivation? • Why do anxiety and fear sometimes take over? • Why is it so difficult to establish healthy boundaries and say no? • Why don't positive affirmations always seem to work? • What is happening in my nervous system when I people-please, freeze, fight, flee or shut down? During the workshop, you will: • GAIN a deeper understanding of the brain, vagus nerve and survival stress responses. • LEARN how to tune into, track and respond to your own nervous system. • DISCOVER practical ways to cultivate healthier boundaries, limits and self-awareness. • UNDERSTAND emotional triggers through a compassionate, unshaming lens. • EXPERIENCE simple embodied practices that can support greater regulation, connection and nervous system wellbeing.
