Swinburne’s Indigenous Learning Circles Launch - Croydon
Event description
Swinburne University of Technology are pleased to invite you to the official opening of our new Indigenous Learning Circles.
Designed in collaboration between our Indigenous students and staff, our Moondani Toombadool Centre, Wurundjeri Elders, and Indigenous Architect Jefa Greenaway, the Indigenous Learning Circles are outdoor study spaces integrating aspects of Country, people, culture and art.
The projects, developed at Hawthorn, Croydon and Wantirna, connect with our existing Aunty Dot Peters AM Flowering Grasslands and are part of our next gen_campus transformation.
We look forward to welcoming you, alongside Pro Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous Engagement, Professor John Evans, and Pro Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, Vocational Education, Madelyn Bolch, as we officially open this new space and celebrate a momentous occasion in Swinburne’s history.
