Switch 4 Switch Queer Speed Dating!

As the title of the event suggests this is for switches (this is a reference to kink and kinksters). If you don't know what a switch is DO NOT BUY A TICKET. This is for those who know and identify as switches.

Join us on Friday, July 12th, 7-9pm, in Brooklyn, for a night of Switch 4 Switch speed dating: Queer Edition!

In this Queer speed dating event, we'll break the night into several parts. Each part will involve group games and 1-1 conversation starters to get the flow going. You won't be sitting all night, nor will you get lost in the corner of the room. Expect to interract with everyone in the room and engage in conversation that is meant to bring about actual connection! This is not your typical speed dating event.

We have a questionnaire that will be used to help with matching along with another game used for the same purpose (matching people). Both games will be done annonymously and will help spark conversation, encourage playfulness, and keep the night fun!

For our second game, we ask that you bring something that says something about you. Your favorite book, something you collect, that poem that 100% speaks to who you are. Whatever it is, let it be something that reveals a bit of who you are.

Not looking for a romantic connection? Come and find a play partner or a new friend. Everything is welcome at Switch 4 Switch: Queer Edition.

Tickets are $20 until the day of the event when they are $30.

What can you expect?

• The night will be broken into parts that each involve questions and games to help get the flow going. You'll be broken into groups of 2 or more and get to engage in connection or love. The night's intention is to help the entire group get to know one another.
• Expect to stay later than 9pm. You're welcome to leave, of course, no one is trapped. But after hosting several dating events, the usual thing that happens are that folks are comfortable, happy, and stay to continue chatting and connecting well past 9pm. Sometimes for another hour after. 

Dress Code:

• We ask that folks dress nicely. This is a subjective word. So to help with that, we ask that you dress to impress. Dress as you would to attend a company event. Whether the company you think of is artistic or corporate, dress with intention and care. Pull out the cute top, the nice jeans, the sexy shoes. Come ready to meet your person! Have a question? Ask.

Can I come if I am poly and have a partner?

• Yes! This event is for all who are searching for love or more play partners. However your relationship(s) take shape.

As with all SheMagick Events this event is for female-identified, Nonbinary, Trans Masc, and GNC Dominants and the folks that love us. We are a Queer- and BIPOC-centered group.

Event venue serves snack food (mozarella sticks, tots, fries, etc.) and both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay accepted only. In other words, a cashless venue.
