SWR is the local radio station for Sydney’s West.
SWR broadcasts Loud, Live and Local 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All our programming is produced in our studios in Blacktown and delivered to your nearest radio on 99.9 FM by our transmitter at Horsley Park. Our broadcast can be received across most of the Western Sydney metropolitan area.
The diverse community of Western Sydney is represented by our wide variety of programming and regular outside broadcasts.

Our Vision
Our vision is to develop SWR 99.9 FM to its full potential as a vibrant Community Radio station whose management and programming is based on community access and participation, and reflects the special interests and needs of the community of Sydney’s West in which the Station is licensed to serve.
SWR 99.9 FM is the walking and talking ambassador for our community of Sydney’s West.
We aim to provide a motivating communication environment with exceptional service. We focus on our community by providing unique and soulful resources that promotes, connects and fosters a true sense of belonging – Our community is our priority!
Our Purpose
SWR 99.9 FM’s purpose is to contribute to the social and economic well-being of our community by fostering willing participation within our station.
SWR continues to strive to be a more purposeful organisation and improve community outcomes by ensuring our operating model focuses on the highest value activities and is understood and measured on an end-to-end basis.
