Join leading industry experts as they discuss how they take an idea to the big screen. From CG environments and creatures to animation and undetectable visual effects, the panel will break down their ground-breaking work to show the skill and artistry behind the scenes.

Anna Cho - Manager Strategy PDV & Digital Games
Anna joined Screen NSW in August 2023 and overseas the NSW Post, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) and Digital Games Rebate program. She previously worked at an e-commerce start-up as a category manager and has a long background in the film and entertainment industry, with over 15 years’ experience at organisations including Roadshow Films, Icon Films, Sydney Film Festival and Dendy Cinemas working alongside local and international content partners. She is passionate about utilising her commercial and operational skills to enable creators and content makers reach a broader audience.

Frazer Churchill,VFX Supervisor, Industrial Light & Magic

Frazer Churchill is a BAFTA Award-nominated Visual Effects Supervisor with a career
span of 25 years on feature films such as Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men, and Fast & Furious. Churchill recently served as Visual Effects Supervisor on Paramount’s highly anticipated animated feature Transformers One. Prior, he oversaw the creative development of StageCraft, ILM’s virtual production technology and workflow, on New Regency’s The Creator for Gareth Edwards.


Fiona Chilton, Executive Producer, Industrial Light & Magic
Fiona Chilton is an Executive Visual Effects Producer whose career spans nearly 25 years in animated feature production, visual effects and live-action projects such as Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Iron Man, and The Lego Ninjago Movie. Since joining ILM, she served as ILM Executive Visual Effects Producer on the upcoming feature Alien:Romulus and Paramount’s recent mini-series, Knuckles, as well as ILM Senior Visual Effects Producer on Amazon’s episodic series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.


Ingrid Johnston - Producer, Animal Logic
Ingrid is currently a Producer at Animal Logic, working on an unannounced animated feature with Netflix.
Ingrid joined Animal Logic in 2002, working in a variety of roles including Head of Production. In this role she was responsible for developing the overall production execution strategy in Sydney and Vancouver and leading the production teams on a variety of projects, including Peter Rabbit 2, DC League of Super-Pets, The LEGO Movie 2 and Peter Rabbit.


David Peers, Director, Animal Logic
David Peers is an award-winning filmmaker (Director, Cinematographer, Writer, and VFX Supervisor) who specialises in digital production. His work includes lensing the Oscar winning Happy Feet at Animal Logic, and Happy Feet 2, on which he was Co-Director and Cinematographer (awarded the Australian Cinematographers Society Golden Tripod for Virtual Cinematography). He was a principal in the creation of George Miller’s Dr D Studios, overseeing sequence designs for Mad Max: Fury Road and Justice League among others. He was then based in London for the setup of the Feature Animation division of digital production powerhouse DNEG, and the setup of Liz Murdoch’s Locksmith Animation, where he worked as a development director on their slate of films, and as cinematographer on Ron’s Gone Wrong, their first feature film with Disney. Most recently he's been developing animated series through his company Big Serious Studios, and is currently directing the short film, Sole Mates, at Animal Logic.
