We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket, this is an option where you can pay what you can from a minimum limit. Description

In celebration of Halloween!

Join us for a day of ritual, weaving kink and shadow Tantra into scenes of release and catharsis.

The first half of this workshop will be focused on creating a safer space for our group. We’ll be discussing consent and trauma before introducing the tools and techniques we’ll be using to create our journey. We’ll offer demos of tools, techniques, and potential frameworks for your afternoon rituals.

Demo Content: Shibari, Flogging, Piercing

In the afternoon you will be invited to create your own ritual in small groups or as a solo experience. We’ll create containers, set intentions and negotiate symbolic actions. In keeping with the mongrel nature of Southern Hemisphere Halloween, this is an opportunity to create a little death - a ritual shedding, a letting go of what no longer serves, creating space for new possibilities and opportunities to grow.

As well as aftercare within each ritual scene, we will offer a group aftercare experience to integrate the day!

We will be providing a selection of tool for your ritual, but please feel free to bring favourite pieces and/or sacred objects. Please note that we will have a limited time frame for our ritual journeys; to ensure the emotional safety of individuals and the group we’ll be making a collective agreement about allowable activities. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

This workshop is suitable for solo and partnered attendees. We will have a lunch break of approximately 40 minutes - there are several cafes nearby.

VENUE / ACCESSIBILITY - There is a flight of stairs leading up to the venue, and unfortunately no lifts. Please get in touch if you need more details!

Eve X

Eve X is a sexuality educator, pleasure activist and erotic artist with a background in academia and a passion for food, sex, knowledge and nature. Founder of the Australian School of Sexuality and Sacred Primal Arts, Eve has held or hosted hundreds of sex education spaces. She is the curator of the Australian School of Sexuality Festival (ASSFest) and affiliated Erotic Arts Festival. Eve is an established aerial shibari artist, creating multimodal ritual theatre with life partner Sai Jaiden Lillith as Infernal Desire Machine regularly in Melbourne and Sydney. Eve and Sai are also respected artporn directors, with Canto V films regularly screening at film festivals globally. Eve lives, creates, and holds events in both Melbourne and Sydney, and is co-owner of A Space in Sydney.
