SydHerbs Presents Max Hacker: Working on the Covid Frontline - Mental Health Services in Hotel Quarantine and Lessons for the Natural Health Community
Event description
Hello SydHerbies!
We are very excited to have Max Hacker join us on the 28th of September for a very important presentation topic:
"Working on the Covid frontline: Mental health services in Hotel Quarantine and lessons for the natural health community"
Max will be discussing effective clinical management of complex mental health cases, with a focus on personality disorders and will be exploring the lessons learnt from hotel quarantine during the Covid-19 Pandemic that began in 2020.. During lockdown, Max worked on the Covid frontline providing mental health services for people isolating in Sydney’s hotel quarantine program. With the city in lockdown, the quiet CBD streets contrasted to the events unfolding inside the hotel walls. On the coalface with firsthand experiences, Max will share insights and lessons he made working within the challenging environment of hotel quarantine, lessons which can be applied across numerous health sectors, including the natural health community.
What is it that naturopaths and nutritionists can learn and apply from this? Find out as Max shares observations and insights that will interest and inspire you!
