Sydney Alliance Convention: Together in Dignity
Listening & Discernment

Tue Eve August 2nd, 4:30pm-8:30pm
UTS Great Hall

After 27 months of reacting, it is time to listen, rebuild and renew the relationships that give your Alliance its relational power. We are surrounded by urgency; issues, pressures, political reactions, media cycles, disasters, housing stresses and climate. To solve issues as an Alliance, we need cooperative, relational power.

As delegates to this meeting, you will leave transformed by the stories you will hear and share in small groups. You will leave with a sense of what it means to be part of a “greater Sydney”, and likely inspired. You will also hear, contribute, and discern the strategy for our action going forward.

We create this time for ourselves, our organizations and each other.

The Convention brings together delegates from across the 50+ Sydney Alliance partner organisations and Friends of Sydney Alliance to:

Listen and share in stories, struggles, and solidarity across the diversity of our community
Endorse a common vision for Greater Sydney and a strategy for the Alliance in 2022-23.

All delegates will be sent papers a week before the convention.
