Sydney Authors Inked - A Writer's Journey
Event description
Sydney Authors Inked is a collective of authors, we do author interviews and writing/publishing workshops at The Little Big House, Summer Hill. These are social and educational events with our next event on Sunday 2 June 2024 from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm.
We have another two wonderful authors who will be talking about their books. Our first speaker is Judith O'Connor, author, journalist and editor whose latest collection of short stories 'War is not Suitable for Children' (Ginninderra Press), has been widely acclaimed. She has also written a novel 'Song of Solace', set in Eveleigh Railway Workshops in the 1920s and a memoir. Then, the lovely Bel Vidal, author of 'Exuberance', will be in Conversation with Sydney Authors Inked. This Bolivian-born Australian writer has been living in Sydney since 1988. She also received an Australian Council of the Arts grant to publish a bilingual collection of her poems and short stories, 'Arcoiris de Sueños / Rainbow of Dreams'.
You will be entertained and guaranteed to learn something new. This event is for anyone who enjoys reading, books, writing, publishing, and socialising with like-minded people
