🚂 TRAINS:
Carriageworks is easily accessible by train. Walk 8 minutes from Redfern Station, 10 minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station. 🚌 BUSES:
Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, just a 5-minute walk from Carriageworks. 🚗 PARKING:
There is very limited on-site parking (very very limited!), including accessible parking bays. If you must drive, we encourage you to pre-plan where you will park. There are surrounding streets nearby the venue that have both all-day parking and 2-hour parking spots. You may also wish to park along the train line at another location to then catch public transport for the remainder of the journey, or opt to book a ride share. 🚕 TAXIS / RIDESHARE:
Taxis and rideshare services can enter at 229 Wilson Street for level access entry via Carriageworks Way. 🚲 BIKES:
There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks on Wilson Street at the top of the stairs, near the main entrance.
Entry instructions
When you arrive, please head to the main entry of Carriageworks — an access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh. Follow the indoor signage to Sydney Ceramics Market in Bays 22–24.
Accessible parking
Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way, including limited disabled parking bays. These are offered on a first-come-first-served basis at Carriageworks. There are also accessible parking bays along Wilson Street.

Carriageworks precinct is wheelchair accessible, and the market is fully indoors on ground level. An access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street. Service animals are welcome throughout the precinct. Baby changing facilities, a respite quiet room, & indoor bench seating are also available.
