Back for our fourth year, Sydney Ceramics Market returns this October with its biggest line-up yet — presenting more than 130+ ceramicists from across NSW and the ACT.

Hosted at the historic Carriageworks, this two-day event showcases an impressive range of statement sculptural works by emerging artists to unique, high-quality tableware crafted by potters with decades of experience — alongside a curated exhibition area of works by emerging Sydney ceramic artists, presented at the main entrance to the event.

Far from your typical market, Sydney Ceramics Market is where design lovers, collectors and the curious come to discover new works and get to know the makers shaping contemporary Australian ceramics.

You'll also have the chance to get your hands dirty with live wheel-throwing demonstrations and pick up unique clays and specialist ceramic tools to inspire your own practice.

Stay refreshed with ready-to-eat food and drink stalls, including matcha blends by TTotaler, fresh focaccias by Gargano Pizzeria, the best bagels by Brooklyn Boy Bagels, delicious homemade lemonade by Hello Lemonade, and an exciting comeback from Donut Papi!

Accessibility and Sensory Needs:
Carriageworks precinct is wheelchair accessible, and the market is fully indoors on ground level. An access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street.

Registered Service Animals are welcome within the Carriageworks venue.

Low, ambient music will be played through overhead speakers placed intermittently throughout the event venue; these speakers are strategically positioned at an accommodating height. There will also be a Respite Quiet Room to take breaks, two water refill stations, and bench seating throughout the venue.
