Sydney Connector August
Event description
CONNECTOR TRAINING
A Connector is a MATE who ensures your safety while linking you to Help.
This half-day awareness workshop equips anyone above 16 years old, with or without prior experience or training, to be a suicide-alert helper.
MATES Connectors can be recognised by their green sticker.
MATES in Construction NSW is offering a Mixed Connector session for those who couldn't attend at their sites.
The MATES Connector is a globally acknowledged 'LivingWorks SafeTALK' course, you can take with you anywhere.
The Connector session begins at 8am and lasts for 4 hours, including breaks.
There is no charge for participation – however, space is limited to 30 participants, and spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Registration will close at the end of business hours on July 26th to allow adequate time for planning and securing resources. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the workshop will be cancelled.
