See, love and buy art at Sydney Contemporary, Australasia’s premier art fair - the largest and most diverse gathering of leading contemporary art galleries in the region.

Sydney Contemporary, in partnership with MA Financial Group, will return to Carriageworks from 5-8 September 2024 for four days of ambitious gallery presentations from over 80 emerging and established galleries, showcasing the work of over 400 artists presenting the best in contemporary and modern art. All artworks are for sale. 

Alongside the participating galleries, the curated program presents a showcase of the very best in contemporary art, current trends and emergent practices – large-scale installations, experimental live performances, engaging panel discussions, guided tours, educational workshops, artist talks, the highly anticipated Art Night celebration and an exclusive VIP Program. Additionally, the Fair is home to bars, cafes and restaurants, making it an all-encompassing experience. Billed as one of the most celebrated events on Australia’s cultural calendar, Sydney Contemporary is a must-attend art event and the perfect place to discover and collect modern and contemporary art.

All visitors need a valid ticket to enter Sydney Contemporary.
Children under 12 years old enter free of charge.
