    Event description

How do we prepare Sydney's food system for the future?

We are calling on food systems innovators in the City of Sydney to envision the future of food in Sydney and map the current innovation pathways.

What works and why does it work?

Are you a member of an  community garden? Food waste collective? Innovative food business or charity?

We want to collaborate with you.

Charles Sturt University, the City of Sydney and The Australian Sociological Association are inviting food systems innovators in the City of Sydney to envision the future of food in Sydney as part of a knowledge exchange community grant scheme. Together we will create a public open-source food systems innovation map of the City of Sydney LGA.

You are warmly invited to come and contribute your thoughts, ideas and experiences and build a Sydney food innovator network.

This workshop contributes towards a larger study into urban food systems innovation and will link with the global Urbal Study (https://www.urbalfood.org/)

This study has been approved by the Charles Sturt University Human Research Ethic Committee Protocol number: H21466.

You can contact the Chief Investigator, Dr Sarina Kilham at skilham@csu.edu.au or on 0269332385 with any questions.
