SYDNEY FPA Signature Event – The Long Lunch – FRI 11 DEC 2026

Join us on Friday, 11 December, for FPA’s 2026 Signature Event – The Long Lunch.

Now in its 11th year, the For Purpose Alliance Long Lunch brings together more than 100 CEOs and senior leaders from across the for-purpose sector for a shared moment of reflection, connection, celebration and insight.

Held at CommBank’s Harbour Street offices in Sydney, the Long Lunch offers a well-deserved opportunity to pause at the end of another big year, celebrate the achievements of our sector and reflect on the experiences that have shaped us as leaders. And while there is plenty of thoughtful reflection, there’s also a healthy dose of fun, spontaneity and candid peer conversation that makes this event quite unique.

At the heart of the afternoon is our signature 5 L’s panel, featuring five sector leaders who will share what they Loved, Loathed, Longed for, Learned and Laughed at in 2026. The format creates space for reflections that are both strategic and human, with conversations that are insightful, candid and often unexpectedly lighthearted.

Following the panel, the conversation turns to the room. Guests will take part in a facilitated progressive long lunch, moving seats and responding to the same five questions while connecting with peers from across the sector. Our panellists will join the conversations, creating an afternoon of meaningful dialogue, new connections and plenty of energy across the room.

The afternoon concludes with dessert, drinks and informal connection, providing time to continue conversations and celebrate the year together.

Thoughtful, reflective and fun, The Long Lunch is an opportunity to reconnect with the achievements of our sector, with peers who understand the realities of leadership, and with a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead.
