HVGS Welcomes the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra

Hunter Valley Grammar School is delighted to welcome the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra (SLO) to Latter Hall for a special afternoon celebrating music, mentorship and community.

Join us for an opportunity to experience the orchestra up close, discover the stories behind the music and enjoy a live concert performance.

Beyond the stage, members of the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra share a passion for inspiring the next generation. Students, families and members of the wider community interested in law, music and future career pathways are invited to participate in a complimentary Law & Music Career Q&A, offering insights into legal studies, professional experiences and the role music can play beyond the classroom.

The afternoon also includes an open rehearsal, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the orchestra in action, followed by a concert performance and light afternoon tea.

Event Program

• 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm | Law & Music Career Q&A

A complimentary session for HVGS students, families and community members interested in legal studies, music and career pathways. Please indicate your interest in attending when booking.

• 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm | Open Rehearsal

Experience the orchestra's preparation and discover what goes into bringing a musical performance to life.

• 3:00 pm | Concert Performance

Enjoy a live orchestral performance by the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra.

Light afternoon tea will also be provided.

• Concert Tickets: $25 per person, including GST and booking fees.

• Seating: General admission, unallocated seating.
