Sydney Miller & Orange Orange with Toby Mobbs @ Tanswells
Event description
23-year-old Sydney Miller from Melbourne is paving the way for a new and vibrant sound. Whilst comparable to alt- and electro- pop genres, Sydney’s production style has earned early praise for its accomodation to a diverse range of musical tastes, complemented by powerful vocals and contemplative lyrics and melodies to intertwine. Orange Orange has been a vessel for powerful, boundless songwriting and musicianship, created by young independent artist Ryan Basile. Music that began as a creative exploration of production quickly became a pursuit into the future of indie-pop, with Ryan borrowing elements of electronica, folk, punk and rock.
As well as their individual endeavours, Sydney and Orange have recently established a strong collaborative relationship, intertwining their projects. Their joint residency and regional tour will be celebrating Sydney’s recent EP release and Orange Orange’s upcoming album release, as well as the recent release of Orange’s single ‘Granny Lands’ featuring Sydney and Orange’s remix of Sydney’s ‘Bad News’, preempting more exciting projects to come. Supporting the pair in Beechworth will be Albury solo artist Toby Mobbs.
