This event is presented as part of the Sydney Rare Book Week 2024 program.

On Monday 21st October 2024, the University of Sydney Library is hosting 2 x Introduction to Letterpress Printing workshops. Join us, working with the Library’s early 19th century Albion printing press, the Piscator Press. You will learn about the history of letterpress printing as well as have the opportunity to set some type and print your very own memento to take home. There are two repeat sessions on the day – select one only: 10:30am - 12:00pm or 1:30pm - 3:00pm. Limited numbers – book now as spots won’t last.

Please note - each session is capped at 6 participants. If you book and cannot attend, please cancel your ticket to give others an opportunity.
