Sydney Rotary Club's Centenary Package of Events, 2021

Rotarians and friends are invited to be part of Sydney Celebrates 100 years of Rotary in Australia. Tickets may be purchased for individual events or as The Centenary Package. 

The Package comprises the following 

• 100 years of Rotary in Australia, Cocktails and canapés at the Sydney Royal Mint on 1 May 2021 
• Centenary Rotary Luncheon on 17 May 2021 
• Opening of revitalised Guriwal Trail in Centennial Park (late May 2021) 
• A mint condition $1 coin to commemorate the Centenary retailing from the Royal Australian Mint at $15
  

100 years of Rotary in Australia, Cocktails and canapés at the Mint on 1 May 2021

Celebrate 100 years since the Rotary Clubs of Sydney and Melbourne were chartered with cocktails and canapes at the Sydney Royal Mint in Macquarie Street from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Saturday 1st May. Attendees at this event will receive a mint condition $1 coin to commemorate the Centenary. Our special guest is The Honourable Justice Margaret Beazley QC AO, Governor of NSW.

Sydney Celebrates Centenary Rotary Luncheon on 17 May 2021

Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the first meeting of Rotary in NSW with a three-course luncheon, wine and a pre-lunch Rotary Cocktail 12.00 noon to 2.00pm pm Monday 17 May at Aerial Function Centre, University Technology Sydney. Special guest will be His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC, DSC, FTSE Governor General of Australia and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, Ambassadors for Rotary's Centenary in Australia. Also celebrate Australia's first Residential Indigenous College to be built at UTS, part of launching the next 100 years of Rotary's Service Above Self.

Celebrate the revitalised Guriwal Trail in Centennial Park on Friday 28 May 2021

Celebrate the opening of the revitalised Guriwal Trail in Centennial Park with an informal event on Friday 28 May 2021. This is a joint venture between Centennial Parklands, the City of Sydney Council and the Rotary Club of Sydney, linking the site to its original owners.

You are invited to make an additional donation to Rotary's Give Every Child a Future, our Centenary Project to immunise 100,000 children across nine Pacific Island countries ($45 to immunise 1 child, $450 (10 children) or $4,500 (100 children to celebrate 100 years. - Give Every Child a Future.
